Frequently asked questions
What makes Sleep and Beyond Organic Cotton Zippered Mattress Encasement different from a regular protector?
It uses 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton jersey with a non-toxic corn-starch-derived TPU layer for moisture protection, while the full-encasement design zips on three sides to fully surround the mattress.
Who would benefit most from this encasement, and who might not be ideal for it?
It’s best for sleepers who want a soft, breathable cover with moisture and pest-protection. If you prefer a lighter or non-zip option, this encasement’s full-encasement design may feel different.
How do I set up or put this encasement on a mattress?
Unzip the encasement, place the mattress inside, and zip along three sides to secure it around the mattress for a snug fit.
What rooms or living situations is it most suitable for?
It suits bedrooms where spills, stains, bed bugs, or dust mites are concerns, and where a breathable, natural fabric surface is desirable.
Is it suitable for use with kids or pets and in mess-prone areas?
Yes, the encasement provides a protective barrier while keeping a soft, fabric feel, making it appropriate for rooms with children or pets.
How does the fabric feel, and does it add comfort beyond protection?
The fabric is a soft, breathable organic cotton jersey, designed to be comfortable against the skin while integrating moisture protection.
